About Nanelle

A life lived full of love

Nanelle was born Nanelle Diane Nawrocki on March 4, 1981 to John and Carol Nawrocki. Nanelle was the youngest of four children - Neal, Nolan, Nicole, and Nanelle. She was cherished by her parents, brothers, and sister.  She went to the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and graduated with a major in Management Information Systems.  It is there where she met her future husband.  She married Kevin Michael McClowry on September 2, 2006 and became part of the McClowry family, loved by Tom & Sissy McClowry and siblings Sean, Shannon, the late Conor, Moira, and Colleen. Nanelle and Kevin had four beautiful children.  Atty was born in 2008, Teagan was born in 2010, Liam was born in 2013, and Conor was born in 2017.  They also welcomed their dog Chase, a Griffon into their family in 2015.  Nanelle was a beloved aunt of 17 nieces and nephews - Aidan, Ashton, Ava, Noah, Luke, Emma, Lanie, Eliza, Estelle, Declan, Maeve, Rory, Quinn, Levi, Iyla, Mira and Maya.

Nanelle dedicated all of her energy into being the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  Not only was she a super mom, but she had the biggest most selfless heart of gold.  Those who loved her were blessed with her witty humor, perfect gifts, and endless support and love.  She fed her soul through visits to the nature and lakes, immersing herself in books, music and projects, and spending quality time with her family.

Nanelle was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2018 and after two and half years of a brave and courageous battle, she lost her fight on February 13, 2021. Feel free to visit her Caring Bridge page to learn more about her journey.
